I lived through my childhood with someone who got extra-special treatment and of course at that time it didn’t make sense to me and I resented it, but I also learned that fair was not to be compared with other people, fair was my getting punished for my doing wrong and my getting praised for my doing well. I learned that comparing myself to anyone else, their successes and failures and their related rewards or consequences was not reasonable. Fairness is subjective in this world and comparing your own predicaments to anyone else’s can only lead to resentment of others and self-pity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
